The ECU utilizes the "START" signal (engine cranking) in its calculations for controlling these outputs:

^ Fuel injection quantity and timing
^ Idle speed control valve
^ A/C relay cut-off
^ Pressure regulator solenoid valve
^ Igniter (timing control)
^ Oxygen sensor heater
^ Circuit opening (fuel pump) relay
^ "De-choke" operation
