AFFECTED VINS

This bulletin applies to vehicles with a VIN of JM1EC43**N0135072 or lower produced through April 23, 1992.

This bulletin does not apply to vehicles with a VIN equal to or greater than JM1EC43**N0135073 and produced after April 23, 1992.

DESCRIPTION





The rear hatch of some vehicles may not stay up.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

If this condition occurs, replace the right and left rear hatch struts with the modified parts. Refer to Section S of the applicable Workshop Manual for removal and installation procedures.
