Thermostat: Service and Repair

1. Drain engine coolant.
2. Remove thermostat cover, then thermostat.
3. Install thermostat. Ensure jiggle pin is at top.
4. Install a new gasket. Ensure print faces upward.
5. Install thermostat cover and torque bolts 14-22 ft. lbs.
6. Fill cooling system, then start engine and check for leaks.
