Removal

Note: Raise and support front of vehicle, then remove wheels.

Tie-Rod End





1. Remove the tie rod nut.
2. Separate the tie-rod end from the steering knuckle by using the SSTS.

Bolt (No.1 engine mount)





1. Support the engine by using the SSTs.
2. Remove the engine mount bracket bolt.

Steering Gear and Linkage





Remove the steering gear from the right side of the vehicle.

Mounting Bracket Nuts





1. Loosely tighten the (4), (3) nuts.
2. Tighten the mounting bracket nuts to the specified torque in order shown.

Tightening torque: 38-51 Nm (3.8-5.3 kgf.m, 28-38 ft-lb)
