Ball Joint: Testing and Inspection

With lower arm in vise, attach preload measuring tool No. 490180510B, or equivalent. With ball stud rotating, pull scale should read 4.4 - 7.7 ft.lb. If pull scale reading is not as specified, replace ball joint.
