1. Raise and support front of vehicle, then remove wheels.
2. Remove undercover.
3. Remove stabilizer bar in numbered sequence, Figs. 18 and 19, noting the following:
a. Remove nuts of steering gearbox mounting bracket, then move gearbox forward.
b. Install engine holding fixture tool No. 49G0175A0, or equivalent, then remove crossmember.

4. Install stabilizer reversing numbered sequence, Figs. 18 and 19, noting the following:
a. Align bushing with line painted on stabilizer bar.
b. On 1993 - 94 models, tighten stabilizer nut until 0.67 - 0.75 inch of threads is exposed at end of bolt.
c. Tighten all bolts and nuts to specifications shown in Figs. 18 and 19.
