Fig. 11 Lateral Link & Trailing Link Replacement:

1. Raise and support rear of vehicle, then remove rear wheels.
2. Remove stabilizer bar in numbered sequence, Figs. 12 and 13.
3. Install stabilizer bar reversing numbered sequence, Figs. 12 and 13, noting the following:
a. On 1993 - 94 models and 1995 MX-3 models, tighten stabilizer nuts until 0.64 - 0.72 inch is exposed at end of bolt.
b.On 1995 - 96 Protege models, install stabilizer brackets with elliptical holes facing downward.
