Front Cover

1. Apply engine oil to front cover and a new oil seal.
2. Press oil seal into front cover.
3. Apply engine oil to oil seal lip.
4. Install front cover and new gasket, torquing to specification.
5. Cut away portion of gasket that projects out from front cover assembly toward oil pan side. Do not scratch front cover assembly.
