EGR Valve: Service and Repair

Move Wiring Harness To Access EGR Valve:

NOTE: Before removing EGR valve, pull harness aside as shown. Plug water hoses after disconnecting.

1. Drain engine coolant below level of intake manifold.
2. Remove dynamic chamber.
3. Remove EGR valve hoses and unplug function sensor.

Removing EGR Valve:

4. Remove valve and gasket.
5. Install in reverse order. Use new gasket.
