Fuel Pump

Fuel Pump Operation Check:

1. Connect data link connector terminals F/P and GND with jumper wire.
2. Remove fuel filler cap. Turn ignition ON.
3. Listen for fuel pump running sound at filler inlet. Install filler cap.
4. If no sound is heard, check for battery voltage between pump connector wire L/O and ground.
5. If not correct, check pump relay and its circuits.
6. If voltage is OK, check for continuity between pump connector terminals L/O and B.
7. If there is continuity, replace pump.
8. If there is no continuity, repair ground circuit.
