Fuel System Priming

Fuel System Priming:

After releasing fuel pressure for repairs or inspection, prime the system to avoid excess cranking when first starting the engine.

1. Connect data link connector terminals F/P and GND with jumper wire.
2. Turn ignition ON for about 10 seconds and check for leaks. Make any necessary repairs.
3. Turn ignition OFF and remove jumper wire. Start engine.
