Rear

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove stabilizer attaching nuts, retainers and rubber bushings.
3. Remove stabilizer link upper attaching nut and bolt, then stabilizer link.
4. Remove stabilizer bracket attaching bolts, then brackets and stabilizer.
5. Inspect stabilizer for bending or damage, stabilizer bushings for deterioration or wear, retainers and spacers for bending or damage, bushings for deterioration or wear and links for bending or damage. Replace parts as necessary.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following when installing stabilizer bushing and bracket:
a. Install bushing on stabilizer.
b. Align bushing with stabilizer installation mark (white line).
c. Install stabilizer bracket and temporarily tighten nut and bolt.
d. Install link to upper link, then tighten nut and bolt to specifications.
e. Install retainers, rubber bushings and nuts.
f. Lower vehicle and tighten bolts to specified torque with vehicle unloaded, tightening link nut so that 0.33 inch (8.5 mm) of thread is exposed.

7. Tighten bolts as follows to specification:
a. Rear lower link attaching bolt.
b. Rear lower link attaching nut.
c. Front lower link attaching bolt.
d. Front lower link attaching nut.
e. Upper link righthand nut.
f. Upper link, lefthand nut.
g. Upper link center nut.
