DRAGGING/STICKING SUNROOF OPERATION

DESCRIPTION
Dragging or sticking sunroof operation may be caused by a broken position plate washer. If the washer is broken, there is a possibility that it may be laying on the sunroof guide rail and interferring with the sunroof travel. The washer has been modified to prevent breakage and is established as a service part.

REPAIR PROCEDURES
If dragging or sticking occurs, inspect the position plate washer for breakage. If broken follow the repair procedures below.

1. Remove the sunroof panel from the body. Refer to Section S of the workshop manual for removal and installation procedures.





2. Remove the pin securing the position plate and remove the washer.

NOTE:
This pin is used only in vehicle production and is not required after removal.

3. Replace the washer with a new part.
