Emergency Override Button

Inspection

CAUTION: Service with the ignition switch OFF.

1. Verify that the selector lever is in P range.
2. Without the brake pedal depressed, verify that the selector lever cannot be shifted from P range.
3. Insert the ignition key into the emergency override button and push down. Verify that the selector lever can be shifted from P range.
4. If not as specified, inspect and repair as necessary.
