NOTE:
- If fuse burns out while driving, powertrain control module (transmission) judges current range.
- When ignition switch is turned from OFF to ON after fuse burns out, powertrain control module (transmission) judges N range. Powertrain control module (transmission) inhibits lockup at this time.

NOTE: If a solenoid circuit or sensor circuit has poor grounding, the following malfunctions may exist:

1. Abnormal shifting
- Shift points abnormal
- Transmission hunts (repeated upshifting/downshifting)
- Drives away except in 1st gear
- Does not shift to O/D
- Fail-safe function may be operated by self-diagnosis system according to extent of malfunction

2. Deterioration of shift feeling
- Oil pressure high and shift shock strong
- Shift timing incorrect and engine flares up
- Shift timing incorrect and vehicle brakes on shifting
- Fail-safe function may be operated by self-diagnosis system according to extent of malfunction
