1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then drain engine coolant into a suitable container.
2. On 1995 - 96 Protege models, remove radiator grille.
3. Remove radiator in numbered sequence shown, Figs. 86 through 88.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Fill cooling system with correct amount and type of coolant.
b. On models with automatic transaxle, check transaxle fluid level and add as necessary.
