Hold Pressure

System Pressure Check:

WARNING: Before performing this procedure, release fuel pressure.

1. Disconnect negative battery terminal.
2. Install pressure gauge as shown.
3. Reconnect battery.
4. Connect diagnosis connector terminals F/P and GND with jumper wire.
5. To run pump, turn ignition ON for 10 seconds.
6. Turn ignition OFF and remove jumper wire.
7. After 5 minutes, fuel pressure should be more than 21 psi (150 kPa).
8. If not as specified, check:
a. Fuel pump hold pressure
b. Pressure regulator hold pressure
c. Injector leakage
