Erasing Trouble Codes

The DLC Is Located Near The Battery:

1. Connect TBS terminal to GND of check connector (DLC).
2. Turn ignition switch ON.
3. Output all memorized codes.
4. Verify that first code is repeated, depress brake pedal 10 times at intervals of less than one second.

Note:
^ Diagnostic trouble codes cannot be canceled if the following occur:
- If intervals of depressing the brake pedal exceed one second (1 sec.).
- Stop light switch has failed.
^ When memory cancel operation is completed, the ABS warning light comes on for 2 - 3 seconds, then goes off.
^ While performing the memory cancel operation, the ABS warning lamp will illuminate.
^ After memory cancel, the ABS control unit will perform self-diagnosis.
