FLOWCHART No. 9
Possible cause
^ Damaged DRL relay

Step 1
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.











2. Measure voltage between terminal C (L) of the daytime running light control unit and a ground.

Step 2
1. Remove the DRL relay.











2. Check continuity between terminals C and D of the relay.


Step 3
1. Remove the high beam relay.











2. Check continuity between terminals C and E of the relay.

Step 4
1. Remove the high beam relay and turn the light switch OFF.











2. Measure voltage between relay connector terminals A and B.
Step 5
1. Disconnect the light switch connector (6-pin).











. Check continuity between light switch terminals B and E with the dimmer switch in the LO position.






FLOWCHART No. 10
Possible cause
^ Damaged high beam relay
^ Damaged light and dimmer switch
^ Damaged wiring harness

Step 1
1. Disconnect the dimmer switch connector (6-pin).
2. Turn the light switch ON (second position, high beam condition).











3. Check continuity between terminals B and E of the dimmer switch (6-pin).

Step 2
1. Disconnect the high beam relay.
2. Turn the light switch to the HEAD position and place the dimmer switch in the high position.











3. Measure voltage between high beam relay connector terminalB (G/B) and ground.











Step 3
1. Measure voltage between high beam relay connector terminal C (R) and ground.
Step 4











1. Check continuity between high beam relay connector terminal A (B) and ground.

Step 5











1. Connect a fused jumper between high beam relay connector terminals C (R) and E (R/W).
