Ball Joint: Testing and Inspection

1. Position lower suspension arm in a vise and move joint back and forth five or six times.
2. Install special steering worm bearing preload measuring tool No. 490180510B, or equivalent, to ball joint stud and attach a spring scale to tool, Fig. 3.
