DESCRIPTION

Some vehicles may experience an engine miss/hesitation during hard cornering when the fuel tank is near empty.

CAUSE

This condition is caused by a slight fuel flow restriction at the fuel pump strainer on the fuel pump pick-up tube.


CORRECTION

Install a fuel pump pick-up repair kit. This kit allows the fuel pump strainer to be replaced without having to replace the entire fuel pump assembly.

The installation procedure is included in the kit.
