Oil Seal (Differential)

1. Remove the drain plug and washer.
2. Drain the oil into a suitable container.
3. Separate the drive shaft and joint shaft from the transaxle.Service and Repair




4. Remove the oil seal by using a screwdriver.






CAUTION:
- Tap in until the oil seal installer contacts the case.
- Coat the oil seal lip with transaxle oil.

5. Tap the new oil seal into the transaxle case by using the SST.




6. Insert the drive shaft and joint shaft to the transaxle. Service and Repair
7. Add the specified amount and type of oil.
