DESCRIPTION

Rough idle that occurs after replacing an intake manifold gasket may be caused by damage to the gasket. If the proper torque tightening sequence is not followed, cracks and/or breakage may occur.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Refer to the instructions and tightening sequences when installing the gasket. Make a note in the applicable workshop manuals to avoid problems during installation.
