Front Axle Hub & Bearing

Fig. 12, Front Axle And Related Components:

1. Disassemble in the order shown in Fig. 12, noting the following:
a. Leaving brake hose connected, suspend brake caliper with wire out of the way.
2. Assemble in the reverse order shown in Fig. 12, noting the following:
a. Install new hub nut and torque to 131-173 ft. lbs, then stake nut with chisel and hammer.
b. Check front wheel alignment.
