Fuel System Priming

Fuel System Priming:

To avoid excessive cranking when first starting engine following inspection or repair, prime system to restore fuel pressure.

1. Connect jumper wire between diagnosis connector terminals F/P and GND.
2. Turn ignition "ON" for approximately 10 seconds and check for leaks.
3. Turn ignition "OFF" and remove jumper wire.
