Fuel Delivery and Air Induction: Description and Operation

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Vehicle is equipped with a 1.6L, SOHC 4 cylinder gasoline engine and computer controlled electronic fuel injection system. System maintains an air/fuel mixture as close as possible to the ideal stoichiometric ratio for all operating conditions. Powertrain control module (PCME) monitors various engine sensors and operates injectors for varying lengths of time depending on quantity of fuel required.
