Air Bag Arming and Disarming Procedures

DISARMING
1. Deactivate audio anti-theft system, if equipped, then disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove lower panel and disconnect orange and blue clockspring connectors.
3. Remove glove compartment and disconnect orange and blue passenger air bag module connectors.

ARMING
1. Connect orange and blue passenger's air bag module connectors, then install glove compartment.
2. Connect orange and blue clockspring connectors, then install lower cover.
3. Connect battery ground cable, then turn ignition switch to On position and ensure air bag system warning lamp lights for four to eight seconds, then goes off.
