Automatic Transaxle

Fuel Pump Operation:

1. Ground data link terminal F/P with jumper wire.
2. Remove fuel filler cap.
3. Turn ignition "ON." Listen for pump running sound at filler inlet. Install filler cap.
4. If no sound, check for battery voltage between fuel pump connector terminal 1 and ground.
5. If not correct, check fuel pump relay and circuits.
6. If voltage is okay, check for continuity between fuel pump connector terminals 1 and 2.
7. If there is continuity, replace pump.
8. If no continuity, repair ground circuit.
