Daytime Running Lamp: Description and Operation

Daytime Running Light Operation (Canada)
When the ignition is on and the parking brake is released, the daytime running lights feature is activated (high beam headlights ON). The daytime running light control unit turns on the high beams by energizing the DRL relay. The daytime running light control unit will turn off the lights when the parking brake is applied, the headlight low beams are on or the ignition is turned off. Electrical Diagrams
