Maximum Pressure

Fuel Pump Maximum Pressure Check:

WARNING: Before performing this procedure, release fuel pressure.


1. Disconnect battery negative terminal.
2. Connect fuel pressure gauge to main fuel pipe and plug gauge outlet as shown.
3. Connect battery.
4. Connect data link connector terminals F/P and GND with jumper wire.
5. Turn ignition "ON" to operate fuel pump.
6. Observe gauge reading:

MAXIMUM PRESSURE: 72 - 92 psi (500 - 630 kPa)

7. If not as specified, replace pump.
