DESCRIPTION
The door glass may come off track, bind during operation or not operate at all. If a customer complains of this problem, the door glass channel may need adjusting.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Verify the customer complaint





2. Roll the door glass down to 100 mm (4 in.) above the belt line molding. Refer to figure 1.
3. Remove the door trim according to section S (page S-99) of the workshop manual.
4. Remove the two (2) screws attaching the door glass to the window regulator.
5. Pull the door glass out of the door opening.
6. Remove the door speaker.

NOTE:
The door glass channel is not part of the regulator. This channel will be painted the same color as the door.

7. Inspect the door glass channel rubber. If the rubber is out of the channel, reinsert the rubber.





8. Pull the lower portion of the door glass run channel 3-4 mm ( 0.12 - 0.16 in.) toward the rear of the vehicle. Refer to figure 2.

9. Measure the distance from the door inner edge to the glass run channel leading edge. The distance should be 99-100 mm (3.90 - 3.94 in.).
10. If the channel is not within the specification, bend the glass channel to meet specifications.
11. Install door glass and two (2) regulator screws.
12. Connect switch and operate window several times to ensure proper operation.
13. Roll window down completely.
14. Open the door and firmly close it. (Repeat 3 times)
15. Roll window up and confirm repair.
16. Install door speaker and door trim.
