Ambient Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Testing and Inspection

ACS (Ambient Temperature) Inspection






Step 1
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect the ACS (Ambient Temperature) connector.




3. Measure resistance of the ACS (Ambient Temperature) and the temperature around the ACS (Ambient Temperature).




4. Compare the values with those in the diagram.





Step 2
1. Disconnect the A/C amplifier connectors.




2. Measure resistance between terminal wires (L/Y) and (L/O) of the connector, and measure the temperature around the ACS (Ambient Temperature).
3. Compare the values with those in the diagram above.
