WARNING: Obtain audio anti-theft access code before disconnecting the battery cable.

ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM
Operation
When the anti-theft feature has been enabled, any one of the following conditions will trigger the system; this will lock out audio system operation until a valid access code is entered into the audio unit.
The access code is a personal programable number originally input by the vehicle owner.


Trigger Conditions
- Disconnected battery cable
- Discharged battery
- Disconnected audio unit connectors

Canceling anti-theft operation
How to enter a valid access code to unlock the audio system.
- Turn the Ignition switch to ACCESSORY position. ("CODE" will flash on the audio display).
- Press the SCAN and AUTO-M buttons simultaneously for approximately 1.5 seconds until bars appear on the display.
- Use channel buttons 1 through 4 to enter the access code. Press button 1 for the first number, 2 for the second number etc. The number must be entered within 10 seconds of beginning this step. If the display is deleted the procedure must be started over again.
- With the code number successfully entered on the display, press and hold the SCAN and AUTO-M buttons (approximately 1.5 seconds) until a beep is heard.
- "CODE" will appear on the display for approximately 5 seconds and then disappear, indicating the audio unit is unlocked.
- If "ERR" (error) appears on the display the entire procedure must be repeated from the beginning.

WARNING: Three consecutive errors, including turning the ignition OFF and disconnecting the audio unit, will permanently lock the audio unit and render it inoperative. If this occurs, contact Fujitsu Ten Service Co.
