Cold Start Injector: Service and Repair
Removal / InstallationWARNING: Fuel line spills and leaks can be dangerous. Fuel can ignite and cause serious injuries or death and can damage the vehicle. Fuel can also irritate skin and eyes. To prevent this from happening, release the fuel pressure according to "Fuel Line Safety Procedures".
Fuel vapor is hazardous. It can very easily ignite, causing serious injury and damage. Always keep sparks and flames away from fuel.
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove in the order shown in the figure.
3. Use a new cold start injector gasket and new fuel packings.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
