Fail-Safe Relay - ABS
When testing fail-safe relay, refer to Fig. 130 for ABS connector terminal identification.Fig. 130 Fail-safe Relay Terminal Identification:
1. Measure resistance between terminals C and D of ABS relay connector; resistance should be 60 - 100 ohms.
2. Check between terminals A and E, continuity should exist, then check between terminals B and E; continuity should not exist.
3. Apply 12 volts to terminals D and C and check between terminals B and E; continuity should exist. Check between terminals A and E; continuity should not exist.
4. If relay operation is not as specified, replace.
