Evaporator Core: Service and Repair

1. Discharge A/C refrigerant into a suitable recovery/recycling device, then remove glove compartment and compartment door.
2. Disconnect thermoswitch connector, then unlock seal plate and slide plate toward heater and blower units.
3. Disconnect cooling unit pipes, then remove nuts securing unit to cowl and remove unit.
4. Separate unit halves and remove evaporator core. Remove expansion valve from core, if necessary.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
