ADJUST TIMING
1. Verify that coolant fan is "OFF."
2. Verify that idle speed is within specification; adjust if necessary.

Idle Speed: 650 - 750 rpm (Neutral)

Use: SST-49 B019 9A0 Or A Suitable Jumper Wire:

3 Set switch A to position 1.
4. Set test switch to SELF TEST.

5. Verify that the (white) timing mark on crankshaft pulley and T mark on timing belt cover are aligned.

NOTE: The (yellow) timing mark on the crankshaft pulley should be close to the 10° (±1°) BTDC mark on the timing belt cover.

Ignition Timing: 9° - 11° BTDC

View: Distributor Lock Bolts:

6. If marks are not aligned, loosen distributor lock bolts and turn distributor to adjust.
7. Tighten lock bolts to specified torque:

Torque: 19 - 25 Nm (14 - 18 ft.lb.)
