Fuel Pump Relay: Testing and Inspection

View: Fuel Pump Relay:

OPERATIONAL INSPECTION
1. Remove the console trim panel from the passenger side foot well area.
2. Listen for operational "click" sound of relay when ignition switch is in the START position.

CONTINUITY INSPECTION

View: Fuel Pump Relay:

1. Unplug the relay connector.
2. Remove the fuel pump relay from its bracket on the powertrain control module engine (PCME).

View: Fuel Pump Relay Test:

3. Check continuity between the relay terminals with an ohm meter as shown.
4. If not as specified, replace relay.
