Intermediate Shaft

1. Disassemble in numerical order, Fig. 39 and 40. Use bearing installer tool No. 49 F026 102, and support block tool No. 49 H034 201, or equivalents, and a suitable press to remove bearing. Hold shaft and bearing by hand so they do not drop.

2. Reverse procedure to assemble, noting the following:
a. Using installer tool No. 49 G030 795 and support block tool No. 49 H034 201, or equivalents, and press, install shaft and new bearing.
b. Install new oil seals and a new clip.
