Without Special Service Tools

NOTE: Although it is possible to clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTC)s without the use of special service tools (SST)s, it is recommended that the on-board diagnostic system be re-checked for codes after all codes are cleared and the vehicle has been driven. To verify that NO trouble codes re-appeared requires the use of SSTs.
For further information refer to After-Repair Procedure/ with Special Service Tools. With Special Service Tools
