Troubleshooting Guide - ABS

The ABS self-diagnosis function used on these vehicle can only be accessed with ABS tester tool No. 0000420010, or equivalent. Follow instruction manual included with tester. When tests reveal that specific components are at fault, test each individual component.

ABS tester






Connecting ABS tester

1. Switch the ignition switch OFF.
2. Connect the SST to the hydraulic unit connectors and the diagnosis connector.






3. Roll back the carpet and remove the protecter.
4. Connect the ABS tester to the control unit connector at harness side using the adaptor.


Caution
Do not drive with the tester connected.
