Fuel Delivery and Air Induction: Service and Repair

Priming Fuel System:

To avoid excessive cranking when first starting engine following inspection or repair, prime system to restore fuel pressure.

1. Connect jumper wire between data link connector terminals F/P and GND.
2. Turn ignition ON for approximately 10 seconds and check for leaks.
3. Turn ignition OFF and remove jumper wire.
