Repair Procedure

1. Verify the customer's complaint.

2. Refer to the symptoms below to determine which of the attached diagnostic flowcharts is applicable for the repair. Use that flowchart to diagnose/repair the vehicle.





^ If the power window malfunctions, go to flowchart (A).





^ If the window glass stops halfway during automatic operation, go to flowchart (B).





^ If a thumping noise is heard when window is fully opened, go to flowchart (C).





^ If the window glass vibrates while going down, go to flowchart (D).





^ If a squeak noise is heard during operation, go to flowchart (E).





^ If a clicking noise is heard when closing window, go to flowchart (F).





^ If a rattling noise is heard when closing door with window halfway up, go to flowchart (G).

Note
^ Use the "WINDOW REGULATOR / MOTOR DISASSEMBLY & RE-ASSEMBLY PROCEDURES" when the flowchart refers to "Replace Motor Assembly", "Replace Window Regulator", "Re-Assemble Correctly (window regulator)", or "Increase Wire Tension". Otherwise, use the appropriate Workshop Manual.

3. Verify repair.
