1. Inspect the following, and replace each gear if necessary.
^ Synchronizer cones for wear.
^ Individual gear teeth for damage, wear, and cracks.
^ Synchronizer ring matching teeth for damage and wear.
^ Main drive gear splines for damage and wear.
