Maximum Pressure
Fuel Pump Hold Pressure Check:
WARNING: Before performing this procedure, release fuel pressure. Fuel line spills and leaks are dangerous. Fuel can ignite and cause serious injuries or death and property damage. Fuel can also irritate skin and eyes.
1. Disconnect battery negative terminal.
2. Connect fuel pressure gauge to filter and plug gauge outlet as shown.
3. Connect battery.
4. Connect data link connector terminals F/P and GND with jumper wire.
5. Turn ignition ON to operate fuel pump.
6. Gauge reading should be 64 - 92 psi (450 - 630 kPa).
7. If not as specified, replace pump.
