Shift Indicator - A/T: Testing and Inspection

Operational Inspection
1. Verify that the selected range and selector indicator light (built into combination meter) positions are aligned.
2. If not as specified, check the park/neutral switch and/or selector indicator light.

Continuity Inspection
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the combination meter.




3. Check for continuity between the terminals.




4. If not correct, replace the bulb or combination meter.
5. Install the combination meter.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
