Radiator Cooling Fan Temperature Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove switch from radiator assembly, then place switch and thermometer in engine oil.
2. Gradually heat engine oil and check continuity with an ohmmeter. Do Not heat engine oil above 248°F (120°C). If temperature is above 221°F, continuity should exist. If temperature is below 205°F, continuity should not exist.
3. If continuity is not as specified, replace switch.
