Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

ACS (Evaporator) Inspection






Step 1
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect the ACS (Evaporator) connector.




3. Measure resistance of the ACS (Evaporator) and the temperature around the ACS (Evaporator).




4. Compare the values with those in the diagram.





Step 2
1. Disconnect the A/C amplifier connectors.




2. Measure resistance between terminal wires (Y/B) and (L/O) of the connector, and measure the temperature around the ACS (Evaporator).
3. Compare the values with those in the diagram above.
