DESCRIPTION
The glass on an power outside mirror may vibrate while traveling on a bumpy road. This vibration is caused when the clearance between the mirror glass and the holder increases due to heat. To improve the holding characteristics of the mirror assembly, additional butyl tape has been added. NOTE:
Production vehicles now have 2 mm of butyl tape (instead of 1.5 mm) installed to improve the holding characteristics of the mirror holder.
