Engine - Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION
- Place the sensor in water with a thermometer and heat the water gradually.





- Measure resistance of the sensor by using an ohmmeter.





SPECIFICATION

- If not as specified, replace the engine coolant temperature sensor.
